Hvis man bruger SAP og overvejer at opgradere ens Microsoft platform, skal man være opmærksom på hvilken version man bruger af SAPGui. Office 2010 (14) og Windows 7 understøttes ikke i versioner tidligere end 7.20

"April, 2010 SAP GUI for Windows 7.20 is available for download on SAP Service Marketplace.
Among others, the following new features are available:

• Support for MS Windows 7 operating system
• Support for MS Office 14 package
• Build with Visual Studio 2008 (which is supported until April 2013)- end of support date for 7.20 will be March 2013.
• SAP Logon: Hierarchical organization of items (tree structure)
• SAP Logon: Central data storage
• Security Enhancements
• Animated Focus Frame: Improved visualization of the focus
